What an upsetting week it's been

Hearing about friends being ill and ending up in hospital.

All the NRAS friends who have been taken in of late

I got a call to say my friend Jayne from Aberdeen was taken ill at the wheel of her car on Union Street in Aberdeen, she's had a pacemaker for many years and she blacked out. Fortunately she was stationary at the time, she was shouting for help, yet no one went to her aid. Until a Nigerian chap working for one of the oil companies was passing and called an ambulance and put her car out of the way. Luckily it wasn't her heart but a severe kidney infection that caused it.

Then I hear that my friend Tina in Southampton who had a liver biopsy done after an lft showed up some problems has found she has liver cirrhosis, she's not a drinker only drinking occasionally and then only 1 or 2, and the specialist thinks it's immune system related.

Positive beams to everyone who aren't feeling well or are in hospital.

My thoughts are with everyone

HUGS

Hi Jo

Sorry to hear about your friends, I do hope they improve and start to feel better soon. It's a tough old life isn't it?! All toddling along nicely and wham ... guess we have to make the most of the times when we do feel well.

It's really thoughtful of you to consider us all Jo, especially with so much going on in your life at the moment. You are so lovely, I feel privileged to have had an opportunity to meet you.

Thank you for thinking of us and take care of yourself,

Lyn xx

Hi Jo

Just a few lines to say I hope your close friends come through their health problems.

Thank you for your kind thoughts, and take care of yourself too, especially during difficult times for you just at the moment

Hi Jo,

It is kind of you to think of us in spite of what you are going through yourself.
I hope your two friends get some good news soon, and you too.

Love and hugs, Doreen xx

Oh JO!

What a week! We have all been in and out of hosp here (as you know) but Im really sorry to hear about your friend and the liver thing.

I have "fatty liver" apparently. they found it when they did the ultra sound when I was in hosp.

I think Milk thistle is helpful for livers- Amanda is the girl for that!

Much love to you my friend xx
